Itqal is one of the angels of the sphere of Venus and Libra
working with Archangel Hagiel. He is traditionally invoked to
help heal rifts and resolve quarrels. The people closest to us
are often the ones we find ourselves in conflict with, especially close
relatives. This is because we can't help getting under each
other's skin. When this leads to serious quarrels we often forget
or even deny how much we really love each other.
Itqal can help dissolve these conflicts and restore harmony. This
does not mean that we stop expressing how we really feel, because this
is vital to greater understanding. Rather we are reminded that
kindness and consideration are always more helpful than anger and
blame. Itqal can be invoked at any time, but for more chronic
problems Fridays are best. Six candles may be lit, six being the
number of harmony. Sandalwood is the best incense to burn:
