Jelial is said to be a Seraph whose name is inscribed on the Tree of Life. The Seraphim are the very highest of the angelic choirs, burning with the reflected glory of God, and do not normally associate themselves with such base creatures as ourselves. Nevertheless, Jelial is traditionally invoked to stir the flames of passion within an established relationship and to ensure fidelity - presumably by keeping the lovers' bed so hot that the partners have no need to look elsewhere.
To pep up the passion in your relationship you can call upon the Angel Jelial to help fan the flames of love. He is drawn by the smell of exotic spices such as cinnamon and ginger, which are also arousing to us. Place a few drops of essential oils in an incense burner and light some candles. Red candles symbolize man and blue candles, woman. They also represent passion and fidelity respectively. Using a pointed instrument, carefully carve Jelial's name in Theban script around the tops of the candles before lighting them. Place passionate red roses in the lovers' chamber too. The best time is a Friday night around 10 o'clock. This is the planetary hour of passionate Mars on the day of loving Venus.
