Haamia is an angel of the Choir of Powers. This choir is
responsible for resisting the demons that pervert truth, and is said to
protect religions from malign influence. Haamiah is responsible
for religious cults and is the protector of those seeking
spiritual knowledge.
This is a very important job. Many of us are vulnerable to
manipulation by "false prophets" who set themselves up as
gurus or spiritual guides. We are also prey to our own
weaknesses. We may think we are on a spiritual path when in fact
we are merely seeking powers with which to inflate our egos.
Humility is crucial if we are to succeed in our quest for
spiritual truth. The Angel Haamiah can guide us on our path and
ensure that we are in safe hands. We can invoke him at any
time. A single white candle may be lit, and some purifying myrrh
can be burned.
In the name of the Almighty Creator,
Whose truth is universal and absolute,
I call upon you, great angel Haamiah,
With an honest and open heart,
To guide me in my quest for spiritual knowledge.
May I know the true from the false,
And may I not be misled by deceivers.
