Hurricanes wreak terrible havoc, resulting in great damage to homes and
property and, far worse, to loss of human life. Such
"acts of God" are impossible to stop, but their effets can
cetainly be mitigated through prayer and, in individual cases, miracles
can occur tha save the lives of people caught and apparently
doomed by these terrible storms.
The Angel Zamiel has dominion over huricanes and can be invoked to
protect certain endangered individuals or to mitigate the effect
of such storms. When you hear of a potentially deadly
hurrican you can invoke the mercy of Zamiel with a prayer
of invocation such as the follow:
In the name of the all-powerful Creator,
I invoke you, great Angel Zamiel,
As the Angel of Hurricanes,
To calm the fury of this terrible storem;
May you divert its path from the most vulnerable places
To blow itself out where few can come to harm.

In the name of the Almighty.
Your invocation should be addressed to the four winds, starting in the
east and working deosil (clockwise), Any number of candles
may be burned. Visualize the calm eye of the storm and
imagine is drawing in the winds spiraling around it, calming them until
all is still and peaceful.
