Rain is the water of life, without which no living plant or creature on Earch could survive. Not surprisingly, therefore, all cultures and traditions have had deities or spirits that ruled the rain, which they would invoke with - often complex - rituals to guard against drought.
There are various angels that traditionally rule the rain. Probably the best known among them is Riddia, greatly revered in Hebrew lore as the Prince of Rain and Ruler of Water. In times of drought, Riddia can be invoked to bring rain. If this is to apply to a place other than where you live, you can adapt the following invocation naming the place in question. You can also draw a rough map of the place, write its name in the middle, and sprinkle drops of water on it for rain or salt for dryness. Light nine white or silver candles and burn camphor or jasmine for rain.
In the name of the Almighty Creator,
Prvider of all that sustains life,
I invoke you, Riddia, Prince of Rain,
To bring refreshment to this parched earth.
That the plants and crops migh grow
And feed all creatures that live here.
I honour and thank you with open heart
For hearing this, my prayer,
In the name of the Almighty.
