Habuhiah is the Angel of Gardening, Agriculture, and Soil
Fertility. Every type of plant has a deva, an angelic
intelligence that is responsible for its form and
characteristics. Habuhiah works closely with these devas,
encourageing them to make their plants succulent and nutritious for us
to eat. It makes sense for the plants, too, for the ones that
grow best and that we find the most nutritious are the ones we prize
the most and plant most widely, thus ensuring the survival of the
species.
Plants are life children. Children love candy, soda, and fast
food even though they are not good for them.. They may give them a
quick energy boost, but can make them hyperactive and weaken their
imune system. Just so with plants. If we feed tham
chemical fertilizer they may appear to grow faster and more
luxuriantly, but they are less robust and nutritious. This upsets
the devas, who see the inherent Habuhiah can help us keep the devas
happy - and ourselves well fed - by working with us to feed the plants
and soil well. If you grow your own vegetables, you should
try to establish a compost heap made of all your household's organic
waste. Every time you add some more scraps to the heap you can
invoke Habuhiah to help transorm refuse into theat miraculous,
life-giving substance, compost. And the devas will love you.
