A petition is a request or wish written in the form of a
prayer. Petitions written in angelic script have more resonance
and are more clearly understood by the angel we choose to
address. The act of writing a petition involves more
concentrated effort and petitions therefore carry more of our
energy.
To write a petition to an angel, we should first establish which angel
is responsible for the matter in hand. For example, if we
wish to attract a lover we should petition the Angel Theliel. For
health matters we can refer to the correspondences of the
Planetary Angels. Here is a simple blueprint for a petition,
which you can apply to any situation:
In the name of the Almighty
(or any other name for God you prefer)
I ask you great Angel ..........
To (state wish) ..........
I honour you and thank you for receiving my prayer,
As is your Holy duty,
In the name of the almighty (or other title).
Date your petition numerically - for instance, 19.2.2004 - and
sign it with your usual signature. The rest of the petition
should be written in angelic script.
Petitions are traditionally written on squares of plain white
paper, or corresponding coloured paper in the case of the
Planetary Angels. Put your petition in an envelope together with
any relevant items, such as a photograph, a flower petal, or a pinch of
incense - whatever you feel may help the angels tune in to your
request. If your wish is fulfilled or no longer applies, you can
burn it with gratitude, thereby dissolving its energy.
